What are the problems that non-English speaking bloggers are experiencing in the process of blogging? They are many, but the two most frequently recurring challenges are the following:

1) Not sure which language they should use to blog – should they use their native language and have a smaller potential readership or to blog in English where their readership could be much bigger, but where they face challenges in writing as well?

2) Another downturn is when they are feeling isolated from other bloggers – many of them reflected that at times they felt that they were not taken as seriously by bloggers in other parts of the world and found blogging difficult.

If you are a non-English speaker, you may still write your blog in English, because you find it much easier to write about technology-related news and reviews in this language — especially when the majority of your readers are from the USA, UK, etc. There is definitely lot more competition for your blog if you chose to write in English and you should think carefully about what content you are going to post on your blog and then choose your niche.

Not a bad idea is to blog in both languages – your native and English, and have every article posted in both languages. Probably you should put a lot more work into this, but it’s a good idea anyway.

Actually, non-English speaking bloggers have to ask themselves two questions: what is my goal and what is my audience? If you blog for people you want to make business with at a local or national level, then blog in you native language. At the end of the day, the whole point is to be understood. Otherwise, you cannot expect to build a blog community. And of course if you blog for an international audience, then you must chose English.

According to many bloggers’ experiences, you can blog either in English or in your own language as soon as your goals are clear, people understand what you have to say, you have good content — rich, interesting, colorful, you know your readers and their needs and you answer to it. In any language, blogging is the same and you have to keep up with the same rules.

Of course, when someone writes in some dialect from a remote place, he/she will never get an audience of million readers. Nevertheless, probably this answers the needs of a handful of local readers and everybody will be happy about that.

The best advice to bloggers would be to write in the language you feel most comfortable with, because this gives you the widest range of expression and the least errors. This way you will probably get a loyal audience much quicker, even if it turns out it is not that huge.

On the other hand, when you have good reasons for blogging in English, such as wanting a larger share of international traffic, but your English is not that good, you should probably try to collaborate yourself with somebody whose English proficiency is much better and have him/her to proofread your posts for corrections before posting.

At the same time, bloggers who post blogs in English, but their niche is more or less locally oriented, will lose their local audience big time, especially where English is not one of the languages traditionally studied at school or otherwise.

In order to monetize their blogs, many non-English speakers are starting their blogs in English with the risk we already have mentioned above. Bloggers who are non-English speakers writing in English are probably millions, and nobody can underestimate their role and contribution to the global blogosphere.

I love this Country. We don’t manufacture as many products as we used to, but we’ll always be the masters of the marketing universe. No other country can take something as mundane as a 1,500 watt space heater and repackage it as the Second Coming. A perfect example of this marketing ingenuity is the Amish Heat Surge Electric Fireplace.

It Rolls! It Glows! The Heat Surge miracle heater is a work of genius from the China coast! Real Amish Craftsmanship goes into each mantle! And, to quote the Heat Surge website, “It’s not just a fireplace; it’s a fine piece of furniture.”

But you have to ask yourself: Do I want to spend $587 for a mini electric fireplace on wheels that produces no more heat than any other 1,500 watt space heater costing $500 dollars less?

Just to be fair, this is a valid question for all electric fireplaces, not just the Heat Surge. Believe it or not, you could easily spend more than $2,000 for a combination electric fireplace/entertainment center heated with the same 1,500 watt unit.

No matter how much you pay for an electric fireplace, the cost attributable to the electric heating insert is about $250 (retail). So every dollar you spend over $250 is for the mantel piece. In the case of the Amish Cherry Fireplace, $250 subtracted from the $587 retail price leaves $337 for the cost of the mantel.

Since the Amish heater is a mini electric fireplace, it’s difficult to find a similar sized electric fireplace for the sake of comparison. The best I could come up with is the ProCom 24″ cherry finish electric fireplace.

Although this fireplace is the smallest ProCom makes, and uses a similar 24″ wide heating insert, it’s overall dimensions are still 2 1/2 times larger than the Heat Surge.

The last time I checked, the ProCom 24″ cherry finish fireplace was available online for $400. After subtracting $250 for the heating insert, the mantel piece for the ProCom costs $150.

So why would you be willing to pay more than twice as much for an Amish mantel less than half the size of a comparable fireplace costing 30% less?

It’s the magic of marketing Baby!

If you buy an Amish electric fireplace, it won’t be for the boring 1,500 watts of heat offered by every other space heater out there. What’s going to get you excited enough to whip out your credit card is an unexplainable attraction to the Amish, the promise of superior Amish craftsmanship and pride of ownership.

I can’t explain an unexplainable attraction, but I’ll accept the claim of superior Amish craftsmanship. However, “craftsmanship” comes at a price. Over a three year period, the premium you pay for an Amish mantel piece will add an additional $5 a month, or $180 to your actual heating costs when compared to the purchase price of a Pro Com 24″ fireplace.

This leads me to the second problem I have with the marketing of this product.

If you go to the Heat Surge website you won’t find one picture of the Amish fireplace with the wheels attached. The reason for this, in my opinion, is the wheels make it look “dinky” compared to the “substantial” look it has when pictured without the wheels.

So how much pride can you take in a product the manufacturer is embarrassed to show in its entirety?

This is a shame. The wheels are actually a selling point because they provide the means for zone heating – simply wheel the fireplace from room to room as needed. Zone heating, or heating only the room you occupy, allows you to dial back your home’s master thermostat for substantial fuel savings.

On the other hand, attempting to “zone heat” your home for multiple occupants spread out in multiple rooms with just one Amish fireplace is impossible.

I have a few other issues with their marketing claims that I could delve into, such as “It uses about as much energy to run as a coffee maker” and regional energy costs, but they have little bearing on cost effectiveness when you pay $587 for a 1,500 watt space heater.

While the evolution of online marketing and the inevitable ensuing overcrowding of the space have made traditional direct marketing methods a bit more difficult over the last year or so, getting more traffic to your blog has gotten exponentially easier. Why? It’s quite simple! With the continued evolution of popular online communities like Stumbleupon, Mybloglog and others, taking a small blog in a new niche and publishing quality and entertaining information on a regular basis is an open invitation for boatloads of backsides to stop by and say hi!

The key is simply getting involved and jumping in! Create profiles at popular meeting places for people in YOUR niche, and join communities that serve those markets. Contribute thoughts, ideas and suggestions. Always provide a link back to your site so that other people can find you when they find your thoughts engaging and want to learn more!

One of the first things I tell people to do when I work with them one on one, is to find the appropriate categories on these social networks that serve their needs, and join as many of their COMPETITORS communities, forums, comment on their blogs, etc – all with the purest generosity of content and spirit. Simply get involved and contribute, it doesn’t have to be in an overt self serving way…my belief is invariably, simply by doing this, good content and good people do rise to the top, just like cream. And as your name starts popping up in different places as a generous and intelligent contributor to the dynamic discourse in your niche, so too will your place and position as a trusted source of great information.

And if you follow this sort of simple blueprint, within a few short weeks you will see large increases in your log files…within 90 days or less, you can completely revolutionize and transform a small blog started in the wee hours of the morning into a resting place for many passionate surfers in your niche, I have done it before…and promise it will work for you as well. Good luck!

Want to see how I make money with my Blog?

FREE Blog Marketing Strategies revealed… so much fun & effortlessly easy, it almost feels like stealing!

Most companies that use audio conferencing facilities prefer to hold the services of trustworthy conference call providers. In general, the host of the conference call has to pay for each minute of the call; this may appear quite pricey in the end. Still, there is also an alternative option that can be very useful for those businesses that can’t afford paying such expenses. This alternative is a free conference call provider. There are no fees charged to the consumers for the conference call, so there is no bill to pay. Below you will read some information on how free conference call providers work, and when the service appears as a practical option.

The first thing to take into account is that free conference call providers are not absolutely free. The fees won’t be seen on the statement released by the free conference call provider, but it will appear as a payment for per minute created on each participant’s personal telephone fees. Than you might have a question why is it called free, if it is not actually? The meaning of free conferencing is based on the actuality that the conference call provider is not charging setup fees, or matter fees for use of their lines.

The fact that free conference call providers are offering this type of service can be explained for several reasons. And one reason between this is that free conference calling necessitates not much in the system of apparatus and staff. This stands for a very low operating rate that can be simply solved by regular usage of their services.

Certainly, there are still some methods to manage the free conference call absolutely free. One way is using a cell phone to dial in to the conference. If you generally don’t utilize your permitted bank of cell phone minutes through the billing time, the rate of being present at the free conference call is really free.

Free conference call providers do have some downsides. For example, if you have many individuals participating in the conference, no one can give you guarantee that there will be sufficient lines during common business hours. Also, usually they do not have an operator-assisted option.

Free conference call service might be acceptable for some categories of companies and might not for some. So, you should decide which is appropriate to your needs.

Do you want to make FREE Phone Conference Call for family members, friends, employees or business partners? There are several great options you could use! Learn how to find Free & Low Cost Conference Call Service Providers.

We have all heard, repeatedly, that frequent blog posting is the best way to generate traffic to your site and to keep people coming back. Is this to say that posting blog entries on an infrequent basis is a waste of time and energy? Many of the best blogging sites around today maintain a consistent yet infrequent posting schedule that seems to work just fine for both the blog master and their readers.

Here is a look at 3 strong reasons why infrequently posting blog entries benefits not only the readers but the blog master as well!

Improved Quality

Firstly you avoid compiling a bunch of ‘rubbish’ on your platform just for the sake of having something, anything to post! With all due respect to the social network sites, some sites tend to post entries that carry the equivalent amount of information you may find in the average tweet! In a rush to ’stay on schedule’ it is understandable that research and quality may be lacking. On the other hand an infrequent schedule can reduce this rush and help restore the quality of the information posted..

Gives Readers ‘Space‘

Infrequent entries not only ‘allows’ for readers to avoid being ’swamped’ with a backlog of unread posts, but also gives the site owner time and space for other things as well. It is no secret that people in general live very busy lifestyles with so many things to do and not nearly the time to do them. By allowing both the reader and the blogger additional time between posts it helps ‘relieve’ an already busy schedule allowing time for other things.

More is Learned

Both readers and the blog master, when given additional time, stand to learn more based upon the amount and depth of research conducted and passed along. Instead of rushing to maintain a steady flow of content, information is being absorbed, analyzed, scrutinized and processed more thoroughly. More thought and insight goes into posting as opposed to the typical ‘reporting’ process or mentality where less is learned but merely passed along. If you expect to learn more from the blog entries you read, than allow the blogger the time to put more into it!

As important as blog posting is to the life of the site how frequent does it need to be done to generate traffic and keep readers satisfied? Some suggestions have you posting several times ‘daily’ while some of the best blogging sites around follow a much more infrequent schedule. The 3 reasons against daily blog entries are discussed above and serve as a strong argument in favor of posting infrequently. In this way both readers and the blogger ‘gain’ space and time to do and enjoy other things as well!

As a business owner, you were probably quick to identify the need for a properly designed and well maintained company website, one that will provide your business with affordable marketing opportunities, help increase sales, and generate new business. You may have gone one step further, establishing a blog with the hopes that frequent posting to the blog will lead to increased exposure of your products and services to new clients. Blogs are invaluable tools for company employees, allowing them to post new articles, videos, press releases, and pages to a website. However, very few businesses are given proper advice or support when it comes to efficient ways to use a blog for business growth, sales, and lead generation.

There is a clear divide that most businesses face when it comes to internet marketing. Most companies find themselves, knowingly or not, increasing the amount of time and effort spent marketing online without generating any significant increase in relevant traffic that will result in new sales. This problem is mostly due to the fragmentation of the website services industry. When you hire a website design and development firm, there is a very good chance that the firm does not understand the importance of internet marketing. They may setup your blog in such a way that it’s practically worthless for the real power and purpose of blogging, which is website traffic and lead generation. Conversely, when employing an internet marketing solution or trying to do it internally, many of the people actually working on your online marketing lack proper website design and web development knowledge. You may, again, find yourself with blog content that does nothing more than take up space and does not result in exposure for your business.

The biggest culprits behind wasted blogging efforts are the online, free blog solutions. Many companies are either sold a free solution by improperly trained website and internet marketing companies or ask employees to establish them, not realizing the loss of productivity that will result. Free blog solutions lack several key benefits that properly developed and integrated blogs do not. Important tools, such as automatic link distribution and site cross-linking are typically not available. The bulk of your product, services, and marketing materials are generally not visible to visitors who click through to read an article on an external blog. Additionally, the majority of free blogs are hosted outside of the company domain and fail to provide fresh content associated with your website, which is extremely important and valuable for a company when it comes to search engine positioning.

Secondary blogs on free solutions, established outside of your company domain with alternative content, can be beneficial for SEO and page rank purposes. However, the primary blog for your business should always be properly hosted on your own website domain, linked correctly from your website navigation, and completely integrated into your existing website. If the URL to your website starts with a URL similar to azmassageforwellness.com, your main company blog should be referenced from within a sub-directory of that site, such as azmassageforwellness.com/blog. It should also be developed using recent, feature-rich blogging solutions such as the open source blog application WordPress. Finally, the blog should be a total integration, with blog pages sharing few differences in heading, navigation, and footer from your main website. Website developers that realize the importance of page rank, relevancy and online marketing will follow these guidelines to integrate blog solutions for your company that provide a deep set of features and support easy to use Plugins for SEO and link automation.

The reason all of this is important deals with the way search engines index and rank your website. When going through the pages on your site, a properly integrated blog appears to a search engine as part of your website. Every post that is made through the blog becomes an additional page of content for ranking purposes. Search engines love fresh content. The more fresh content you have, the more relevant your website appears to search engines and you will rank higher in search results and generate more new business as a result. It takes time, but after 100 or 200 good blog posts, your website should begin to see some significant benefit in search engines.

There are additional factors to consider when posting to a blog, outside the scope of this article, which are important to consider. A good internet marketing solution will provide you with training and will support your efforts by identifying effective keywords to use in posts. You should be provided tips that will help establish your blog in the community, giving you recognition as an expert in your field. Your website team should help you to identify ways to distribute your content and get your blog posts linked out to other websites. Finally, there should be a good level of customer support and interaction between you and the website team that designed your blog, so that you understand the most effective ways to utilize your blog and get the most value from your time invested.

A properly developed and utilized blog can be the most effective tool available for you to generate traffic and increase search engine positioning for your website. If you haven’t already, be sure to search for and consult with a comprehensive website design, development, and internet marketing firm. One that can provide a variety of effective solutions that work together to increase sales for your business.

To earn revenue from your blog, you need traffic – a lot of it. With a small flow of traffic to your blog, you will be destined to days and days of little to no earnings, and the possibility of your blog failing. But with a hefty flow of traffic to your blog, you will have the benefit of sunny days and a happier state of mind as your chances of earning money dramatically increases.

There are many ways to get traffic to your blog. Lazy marketers love the idea of only advertising to get traffic to their blog – which can be a good strategy – if you know your conversation rates and understand the math of your business. However if you don’t, then you will have a few short days of comfort from all the traffic that your blog is getting, then the eventual shortage of traffic after all of your funds are depleted.

Luckily, there are tons of ways to get a lot of traffic to your blog that doesn’t cost anything at all. And in this article, I’m going to share some of those ways with you.

Never do something if it doesn’t make sense to you. If you see a competitor in your niche advertising someplace month after month, and you know that ad slot is expensive, don’t automatically assumed that you can succeed doing the same thing. You have no idea what the mechanics of their business is, and what things they’re doing behind the scenes to make their business profitable.

If you’re not willing to do everything that they’re doing to make your blog profitable, then you will have a tough time on your hand when your blog sales doesn’t recoup your advertisement investment.

Many beginner bloggers and novice internet marketers make the mistake of assuming that free marketing methods can’t bring a lot of traffic to your blog the same way that paid advertising can. I myself was guilty of this idea 5 years ago when I first got started, and I found myself spending endlessly on pay per click campaigns with very little sales – but eventually a failed business.

Everytime.

And this happened for 3 years straight, until I finally got with the program and built my business from the ground up. It doesn’t matter how you get traffic. All that matters is if you’re making enough income to pay your rent and bills. After you have the sufficient income to do that, if you want to be a guru of some sort, then I guess you have the option of doing so.

But you cant start the other way around and expect to see satisfying results. Therefore right now, I’m going to share with you 2 of the same free traffic techniques I used (and still use) to get traffic, and that benefit me greatly in my online marketing efforts. Here’s my first free traffic method:

1) Article marketing

This method is great for generating traffic to your blog. What you do is you write articles that relate to your blog and submit them to the article directories. Preferably you want to write the articles yourself, as no one knows your business better than you do. But if you’re not a writer, you can outsource the writing to a freelancer.

No matter what you choose, your articles should be extremely beneficial to your target audience. The benefit here is that at the end of each article, you get to leave your blog information in the form of an “author byline”. This is how people will visit your blog. After you’ve written your article, you want to submit them to the article directories. Here are a few that I use myself:

- EzineArticles.com

- Articlesbase.com

- GoArticles.com

- ArticleDashboard.com

- Ideamarketers.com

This method is fantastic for generating alot of traffic to your blog. Here’s the other method that I highly recommend:

2) Forum Marketing

Forums contain people in your target audience all in one central location. All you have to do is join the community and provide your valuable content and insights related to your blog. This is a great way to become an expert in your niche. The more valuable information you share, the more people will want to find out more about you and the more visitors you will get to your blog.

One thing you want to make sure not to do is blatantly advertise your blog on the forum. This is an absolute no-no in the world of forums and is the fastest way to get banned from one. Stick with helpful information and ideas and the traffic will naturally come. It’s only natural that this will happen.

Using these 2 traffic sources can provide you with recurring traffic for years to come. I highly suggest you start using them today.

What You Will Learn By Reading This

This article covers getting your own blog, finding great FREE content for it, how to get interviews from famous designers for your blog, setting up a list and driving traffic to your site. Read on, o great one!

Be A List Rock Star In No Time

Why, you say? Why should I get a list? Well, one, your opinionated right?

Get Your Own Megaphone, & Force The World To Listen To You

Ok, starting from scratch, you are a creative person. All creative people, you, have big strong opinions. These opinions can hurt you and help you! The best thing to do if you cannot shut up is get your own megaphone, a blog, for instance. If you go to http://www.blogger.com and you can get your own free blog. This way, you can start writing about your passion, graphic design, typography, layout, fonts, advertising methods and marketing, photography, etc.

Get Your List On

Starting a list can be hard. Basically you need to have really relevant content for your audience. Websites they have never seen, books they don’t know about, podcasts they would love, other designers they can get inspiration from. You get the idea. Inspire, communicate, create a community.

The Three Steps To Fame & Fortune In Design & Advertising

1. Go to http://www.Blogger.com and set up a free blog. Or go to http://www.godaddy.com, get a domain name, then go to http://www.bluehost.com and get hosting. Then, go to http://www.wordpress.org and install your new blog on your own site. If you don’t know to do any of this, stick with blogger.com for now or http://www.typepad.com or something. A simple blogger platform.

2. Write 15 or so posts on your new blog, the contents. Link to other authoritative blogs in your area. One such site is Brand Nu out of England. Look him up. I think it’s http://www.brandnu.co.uk

He is amazing. Become friends with him.

3. Go to http://www.technorati.com and research what others are writing about. Comment on their blog and exchange links with them. Add them to your blogroll or link bar on Blogger. See traffic grow.

4. If you have a website, but no list, you should start using http://www.aweber.com, which is a free auto responder. It will help you put up forms like the opt-in one to the right of this article. See it? The one with the headline? This is how I capture opt-ins.

The main benefit to the opt-in list is that they get certain products I am working on for a big discount, and they also get more targeted, very specific advice and secret website links to boost their graphic design business.

5. Get Relevant content to your list. How? Contact other designers and advertisers and ask to interview them. It’s simple. Go to their site, email them and ask for a quick interview by email.

TIP: Email the questions for the interview in the same email that you ask them for it.

This makes it easy for them.

TIP 2: Do not ask more than 8 questions.

I’ve already contacted Radim from Brand Nu and he has agreed to be interviewed. Do the same thing. Drive traffic to your site this way. Also, go to http://www.Goarticles.com and http://www.Ezinearticles.com. and get free articles to put on your blog about your niche topic.

There you go!

If you are new to the world of online dating, free black Christian dating may be the way you plan to go. There is no doubt that these sites can be an excellent opportunity for you to save time and money and still connect with others on the web who you want to connect with. Some free dating sites have all the same features of paid sites for none of the cost. Take a few minutes to consider all of your options in dating sites before you commit to just one.

Why Date Online?

There are many reasons that people are turning to the web for black Christian dating. Your inner circle of friends may offer no opportunities. You may be interested in a person who is not affiliated with your local church or neighborhood. Rather, you may be after someone that is unique and special, someone you just have not found yet. When you turn to the web, you have far more options than you would locally, to find that person that fits your needs. The fact is, on the web, there are far more people who could possibly be that perfect person.

Be Careful

There are some that are outstanding free black dating sites; however, you do need to seek them out. Some of these websites provide you with an excellent opportunity to find others and give you tools to help that process. On the other hand, some only provide a forum where just about anyone can leave a message in the hopes of finding someone else. As a Christian, you might need more information before you contact anyone.

Look for people that you know are going to mesh with you. They should share the same Christian beliefs that you have. They should be passionate about their experience as you are. They should be looking for the same type of relationship that you are. All of these may seem like small factors but they do add up in the end. For those who are looking for a successful relationship, what is critical is having the ability to find a person that you could see yourself with. If your local area just does not seem to offer this, then look beyond that area in the web.

Free black Christian dating sites are one of the best options for this. The more dedicated you are to finding those people who fit your goals, the more successful you will be in finding a person to spend the rest of your life with. Black Christian dating does not have to be difficult to do when you use a service that offers plenty of options in people who come from all walks of life and share the beliefs that you have.

Monica Jones works for BlackChristianDatingForFree.com, a Free Christian dating service for African American Black Christian singles. Our site features the fastest growing database of Black Christian singles online. This site is and always will be 100% free of charge – we will never ask you for a credit card so put away your wallet.
