First BanCorp Reports Financial Results for the Quarter and Year Ended December 31, 2009
SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico—-First BanCorp , the bank holding company for FirstBank Puerto Rico , today reported results for the fourth quarter and year ended December 31, 2009. The net loss for the quarter totaled $53.2 million, or $ per diluted share, compared to a net loss of $165.2 million, or $ per diluted share for the third quarter ended September 30, 2009.
