I’m a computer student studying java programming language for Blue j. How do i install Bluej on my computer?

What i do know is that i need JDK and BlueJ. What i don’t know is how do i get about doing it. Plus, I have installed Java on my computer from their website. Will it help? And whats the difference between JDK and JRE?

    It has blue j to download and on the right hand side there is also a link to download the jdk file.

    I’m a current computer science student and use the book ‘Objects First with Java’ by David Barnes & Michael Kolling. It’s very useful especially for beginners and also contains a CD to install BlueJ and the JFK as well as already made projects to hel your understanding
